Autoconsistencia: choices

Añade un resultado incierto a las decisiones de moderación y compara la coincidencia de etiquetas con la proporción de acciones automáticas.

Este cookbook toma una publicación de usuario límite, ejecuta sobre ella una rúbrica de moderación 15 veces y comprueba si cada respuesta se mantiene estable entre las repeticiones. Cada comprobación es un Choice, así que cada respuesta es una etiqueta de un conjunto fijo. En un pipeline de moderación, esa etiqueta es la decisión de enrutamiento: eliminar o dejar publicada, escalar o resolver automáticamente, enviar a la cola de amenazas, de spam o general. Cuando la etiqueta oscila de una ejecución a la siguiente, la misma publicación se enruta a sitios distintos sin ninguna buena razón.

La rúbrica son 8 preguntas Choice, y cada ejecución es una llamada que responde a las 8. Hacemos 15 repeticiones por condición, donde una condición es un modelo más un ajuste, y representamos cada etiqueta que volvió.

Las condiciones:

  • LLM no razonadores claude-haiku-4-5 y gpt-5.4-mini, con temperatura 0 y la predeterminada de la API.
  • LLM razonadores gpt-5.5 y claude-opus-4-8, que no tienen control de temperatura.
  • TypeSafe: una llamada a system_one sobre las 8 preguntas Choice, con un campo uid nuevo (un valor único desechable) en cada llamada, igual que la configuración del cookbook de noul.

Qué hay que mirar: las etiquetas elegidas pueden cambiar dentro de una misma condición, TypeSafe incluido, y las condiciones discrepan entre sí.

En esta ejecución, los ajustes de distribución de los LLM repiten su etiqueta más frecuente entre el 87.5% y el 100% de las veces, frente al 90.8% de TypeSafe. TypeSafe tiene una variación media de probabilidad menor que cinco de las seis condiciones de distribución de LLM; Haiku a temperatura 0 varía menos. Unas probabilidades ajustadas aún permiten cambios de enrutamiento: TypeSafe cambia en 2 de las 8 preguntas.

Para las decisiones de la aplicación, además exigimos una probabilidad máxima de al menos 0.60; si no, el resultado es uncertain y pasa a revisión humana. La coincidencia de TypeSafe entonces sube al 99.2%, con etiquetas automáticas en el 74.2% de las respuestas. Mostramos las salidas sin procesar y aplicamos el mismo umbral a las condiciones de probabilidad de los LLM, manteniendo visibles las abstenciones y los cambios.

La publicación de abajo está hecha para quedarse en la frontera. El lenguaje es acalorado e insultante, dirigido en parte a una persona y en parte al argumento y a la comunidad. Lleva una invitación fuera de la plataforma (un enlace que arrastra a la gente a otro sitio), una sanción previa en la cuenta y cuatro reportes de usuarios, y el texto que parece una amenaza nunca está formulado con claridad.

Aquí no hay una única respuesta obvia, y eso es justamente lo importante: pequeñas diferencias de redacción no deberían mover al azar la misma publicación entre distintos caminos de aplicación.

La rúbrica: 8 preguntas Choice

Cada pregunta tiene una key, una línea de instrucciones y un conjunto fijo de etiquetas. Cómo preguntamos

Cada llamada a un LLM es un prompt que contiene json.dumps(POST), las 8 preguntas y todas las etiquetas permitidas. Hay dos formatos de respuesta. En el modo de distribución, el modelo devuelve un objeto JSON por pregunta con una probabilidad para cada etiqueta. En el modo de elección única, devuelve una etiqueta sin más por pregunta, y nuestro análisis pone toda la masa de probabilidad en esa etiqueta.

La llamada a TypeSafe es una única solicitud system_one sobre la misma publicación y las mismas 8 preguntas Choice, que devuelve una distribución por pregunta.

Cada consulta recibe además un uid nuevo, un valor único desechable que cambia en cada ejecución mientras la publicación y la rúbrica permanecen iguales. Aparece en el prompt del LLM y como campo adicional en el estado de TypeSafe. Esta configuración no puede separar la sensibilidad a ese campo irrelevante de la variación que ocurriría con solicitudes idénticas.

Cada helper devuelve la respuesta, un coste estimado y la latencia del viaje de ida y vuelta.

  • Un ✓ marca una condición probada con 15 repeticiones; un — marca una combinación que no se prueba.
  • La columna predeterminada no envía ningún argumento de temperatura: los modelos no razonadores usan la predeterminada de la API, y los modelos razonadores y TypeSafe se ejecutan sin ajuste de temperatura.
  • Las condiciones de elección única devuelven una etiqueta por pregunta.

Las preguntas más claras se mantienen estables: target lee Person y severity lee High en todos los casos. Las que están en la frontera se reparten entre condiciones: category, primary_risk, action, review_path y link_handling. Algunas condiciones también cambian dentro de sus propias 15 repeticiones. Antes de la abstención, TypeSafe cambia su etiqueta más probable en primary_risk (Harassment 11 veces, Violence 4 veces) y link_handling (RmLink 8 veces, Brigade 7 veces). Ahora ambas filas muestran uncertain en todo momento porque sus probabilidades máximas están por debajo de 0.60.

Desviación estándar de la probabilidad

Esto mira los vectores de probabilidad completos, no solo la etiqueta elegida. Para cada condición reunimos las 15 distribuciones de cada pregunta, tomamos la desviación estándar de la probabilidad de cada etiqueta entre las repeticiones (cuánto se mueve de una ejecución a otra) y luego promediamos esas desviaciones estándar sobre todas las etiquetas y preguntas. Bajo la misma regla de 0.60, Haiku a temperatura 0 obtuvo un 100%. TypeSafe obtuvo un 99.2%, y las otras condiciones de LLM quedaron entre el 84.2% y el 94.2%. Deja que unas probabilidades inciertas produzcan una decisión incierta

Un pequeño cambio de probabilidad puede intercambiar dos etiquetas cercanas. La aplicación no tiene que actuar sobre la ganadora: devuelve uncertain cuando la probabilidad máxima está por debajo de 0.60 y manda ese caso a una persona. Justo en 0.60, selecciona la etiqueta más probable. Esto usa las probabilidades devueltas, no el campo confidence aparte de la API, y no añade llamadas al modelo.

El umbral es una política de aplicación ilustrativa, no una garantía calibrada ni un umbral elegido para maximizar la coincidencia de esta ejecución. Elige los umbrales de producción usando ejemplos etiquetados y el coste de las acciones incorrectas y de la revisión humana.

Aplicamos la misma regla a cada condición con salida de probabilidad. Las respuestas de LLM de elección única no tienen estimación de probabilidad; sus vectores one-hot sintéticos no pueden medir la incertidumbre, así que se excluyen del gráfico y de la tabla de coincidencia.

policy agree cuenta uncertain como una decisión; los fallos de análisis cuentan en contra de la coincidencia. automatic es la proporción de todas las respuestas que seleccionan una etiqueta. conflicts cuenta las preguntas con más de una etiqueta concreta a lo largo de las repeticiones, ignorando las abstenciones. La coincidencia de TypeSafe subió del 90.8% al 99.2%. De las respuestas, el 25.8% fueron inciertas y el 74.2% automáticas. primary_risk y link_handling volvieron inciertas en todas las repeticiones; category alternó entre Violence y uncertain, cruzando el umbral de acción en algunas repeticiones y en otras no. Ninguna pregunta produjo dos etiquetas concretas distintas de TypeSafe. Nada de esto muestra precisión ni superioridad: Haiku a temperatura 0 tuvo aquí un 100% de coincidencia, sin abstenciones.
